Vitesse Financial is unlike any other credit repair company out there. We know that you have a choice between either do-it-yourself credit repair or hiring a professional credit repair agency. We want to help you with credit repair and help you raise your credit score, but at the same time, we want you to understand the rationale behind the credit repair advice we give you and we want you to make the decisions that are right for you. This is why we've gone ahead and made the following credit repair advice available. No other credit repair agency wants you to have this free credit help information under your belt.
Order your credit reports. Before you can begin repairing credit report damage, request free copies of your credit report. This can be done one of three ways: go online at www.annualcreditreport.com, call them or mail them your request. Another thing that Vitesse Financial's credit repair specialists want you to know: you can order all three credit reports all at once or throughout the year, it's your choice either way, but do make sure that you order only from Annual Credit Report for your free copies. Otherwise, you'll be charged a separate fee if you go directly to each credit reporting agency.
Understand your credit reports. So, you've requested and received copies of your credit report from each of the reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian or TransUnion -- what comes next in the credit cards process of improving credit score ratings? Well, you face the challenge of making heads and tails out of a lot of numbers, abbreviations and terms -- tradelines, charge-offs, writ of Replevin -- talk about confusing! OK, here are the basics -- your credit report will come with information broken out into four sections. They are: Identifying information, credit history, public records and inquiries.
Contact the particular credit reporting agency in writing and inform them of the mistakes in question. Make sure to include copies (not originals) of documents that support your position. You might want to also include a copy of your credit report with the disputed items circled and your letter should detail the items in dispute and why you're disputing them. Make sure to send your letter by certified mail. An investigation will be conducted by the credit reporting agency in question (this typically takes 30 days). The agency is then required to provide you with the results of the investigation in writing.
If you want to avoid this process, you can also hire a professional company to provide credit repair help. Just because you have a poor credit record doesn't mean you can't get credit whether you do it yourself or if you let a Vitesse Financial credit repair specialist help you repair your credit. Give us a call and we'll put our years of nationwide credit repair experience to work for you today!
